These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the ManuMed Private Practice website, services, and online consultation platform. By accessing or using the website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not replace a formal medical consultation. Always seek professional medical advice for diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition. In case of a medical emergency, call emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.
By booking an online consultation, you consent to engage in a remote medical evaluation via video or telephone. You confirm that all information provided during the consultation is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. The practitioner may issue prescriptions, sick notes, or referrals if clinically appropriate. These documents are valid under South African law.
All consultations must be paid in full prior to the appointment, unless covered by an accepted medical aid. ManuMed Private Practice accepts cash, EFT, and most South African medical aids. Momentum Health is currently not accepted. Patients using non-accepted schemes may pay privately and submit claims independently. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 6 hours in advance with no charge. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee or result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
